What customers say?

“ I feel like I just robbed this place because it was crazy affordable for what I got. True otoro! I havent had real otoro in the bay without paying more than 30$ a piece. It melted in my mouth the way it should, with zero fishy taste. I ordered the 14 piece omakase and the sashimi, plus an extra single otoro nigiri and uni, but both were also included in the omakase. I cant believe that, so generous. I usually share with my cats but I cannot bring myself to do this time because its too good. Everything was cut perfectly, and I will definitely be recommending and returning again. ”

“ Ok, let me start by saying the food here is amazing. I've been twice, and both times I got the Special Keisen Don and I was really impressed by the selection of fish and seafood. Everything was so fresh and included yummy specialty items such as hotate, ikura, nishin, fatty tuna, etc. The food is so good that I believe this place deserves better service. The second time I went, there was only one front of house staff who briefly greeted, served us, and seemed to also be preparing the food as well as bussing tables. We ordered our food from a QR code on the table, and it was a bit confusing because all of the orders from the table are combined together on one check. I believe there should be an option for separate checks. It's nice to have the option to order though QR, but honestly nothing really beats old fashioned good service, and this place could really blow up if the service was as good as the food is. I'll be returning for the the food though as long as the quality remains consistent. ”

“ Wow. By far the best experience I've had at any restaurant. While quaint, the food and atmosphere was dynamic. The Chef took time to connect with me. The interior was clean. Inviting. The food danced on my palette. I would give 6 stars. Real people in a real atmosphere with excellent food. Highly recommend. ”

“ Cute restaurant! We got take out and most of our sushi was great, only the baked lion king roll was still raw. We were able to bake it at home and it turned out ok. If you like your lion king rolls fully baked you might want to request it specially when you order. Would go again! ”

“ Best part about this spot is how cool the staff is! Perfect place for a nice relaxing lunch. Futomaki roll is really good, pairs well with the potstickers, and a teka maki or nigiri. Their outdoor patio area is also very nice and easily makes this one of my favorites. ”

“ First time dining in at this place that replaces a previous Chinese Vietnamese restaurant that we used to frequent. It’s almost like a ghost kitchen in the sense that they have Japanese food (Sachi sushi) and dim sum (Yue Club) operating under a joint name of Saga Kitchen. The sashimi was alright, though they gave us a bonus of a tuna belly which was delicious. Sabro plate - ground beef and scrambled egg was not what we were looking for. The ground beef lacked any taste as it felt like straight up ground beef. So not something we would order again. Got it with Ebi tempura but it tasted like those frozen shrimp tempura - know it since I have taste palate that has allowed me to differentiate them, and food sensitivity to also differentiate fresh water from salt water shrimp - theirs is certainly fresh water. Char shu ramen was delicious. Noodles had a slight chewy texture and the soup was tasty. The charshu, and poached eggs were right on and delicious. Tonkatsu was ok. A little on the drier side compared to our favorite Tonkatsu places. The cool robot food runner was fun and entertaining for the kids. The fabric seats were discomforting as there’s just so much stains on it that it felt nasty seating on it - we changed immediately when we got home. ”

“ Sachi is my new favorite sushi spot in the east bay. The omakase had great cuts and everything tasted wonderful. ”

- Javad Kouchakzadeh -

“ Ordered omakase nigiri set and karaage, both are surprisingly good! Most importantly not expensive at all! The food from kitchen is delivered to table by a robot. Fun to see it coming out from time to time. ”
